Erik is a Stuntman living in Sweden. He has been working with the Swedish Stuntgroup (www.stuntgruppen.se) since 2002. His stunt resumé so far includes 2 feature films, several tv-commercials, motion capture in a Xbox 360 game, many live stuntshows and countless shortfilms.
He started training martial arts at the age of eight and has kept on training ever since. In the beginning of his martial arts career he focused on unarmed self defence and lots of grappling training (Ju-jutsu). When he turned 18 he moved to Stockholm, the capital of Sweden, to study at the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH). Stockholm had a huge selection of martial arts disciplines. Erik decided to spend a couple of years trying out as many different styles as he could; Capoeira, Escrima, Kali, Taido, Brazilian Jiu-jitsu. Then finally after a couple of years he found Bujinkan Budo Taijutsu (commonly knowns as Ninjutsu)! A wonderful style which included many weapons and great acrobatic techniques. After a few years of Bujinkan he got even more interested in acrobatics and started training at the Cirkus School in Alby a couple of times a week. In the summer of 2002 he was lucky enough to be able to take part in the Swedish Stuntgroups Stuntcourse. In the beginning of 2004 he graduated from the Royal Institute of Technology and is currently working both as a stuntman for the Swedish Stuntgroup and as a CTO in Electronics for a Swedish Satellite Communications Company.
